The Kottayam Advocate, A.G.Menon and his faimily had the privilege of seeing Brahmananda Sri Sivaprabhakara Siddhayogi Paramahamshar for three hundred years. The books that he wrote record the valuable information that the Swami appeared to be the forty-five year Sadhu for nearly four generations of his family worshippers and observers. Maiyilpura Vaithiyan who comes in the nineteenth generation of our Swami lived in Krishnapuram. He was in the habit of worshipping Prabhakara Swami until the last day of his forefather's Samadhi.
Swami took nearly fifteen bodies and each body can be estimated as having an age of at least fifty years. The actual age of Swami can be arrived at in this way of calculating the average age of each body. This way of calculating leads us to determine the age of Swami as 724. That the age of Swami is 724 is known in his final Samadhi and this information is brought out in the Swami's Birthday celebration publication
